Support the Future of Wisconsin Humanities
Earlier this year, Wisconsin Humanities faced a moment we never imagined: the sudden loss of federal funding. It forced us to make heartbreaking decisions—laying off beloved staff members, ending our office lease, and pausing flagship programs like our award-winning Community Powered training and Love Wisconsin, and grantmaking.
And yet, in the midst of that storm, you stood with us.
Our community of supporters—past, present, and new—rose up with incredible generosity during our Next Chapter Campaign. Because of you, Wisconsin Humanities is still here. And because of you, we’re ready to begin again. This late summer and early fall, we’re launching Listening Sessions across Wisconsin, traveling the state to hear directly from the people we serve. These sessions will allow us to gather ideas, build relationships, and co-create a new, community-driven vision for the future of the humanities in Wisconsin.
But we can’t do this without your support. Your donation today will help us:
- Identify local strengths, priorities, and opportunities where Wisconsin Humanities and communities together can have a lasting impact
- Inform our board as we plan for the future of our organization
- Build a powerful network of supporters who can champion the humanities across Wisconsin
Every gift matters. Whether you’re giving $25 or $2,500, you are helping us listen more deeply, serve more meaningfully, and rebuild with purpose. Together, we can ensure that the humanities remain a vital part of life in every corner of our state.
The next chapter of Wisconsin Humanities starts with you.
Make your gift today—and help us keep listening.
